The Fire
As the leader Ralph decided to build a fire. The fire is intended to be used as a signal for rescuers. The fire is used by all the boys and It symbolizes the  hope in them. There is point when the fire goes out. Ralph, Piggy, and the others race up to the mountain and this shows their hope of being recused. 


Conch Shell

The conch is a shell ralph and piggy found on the island. The conch shell is used by all the boy. The conch ensures that no one would be interrupted while speaking. The conch shell symbolizes the last bit of civilization the boys might have.


 Face Paint

The face paint is used as camouflage by jack and the hunters. The boys were using to capture the pig. The face paint mask the boys humanity. When the boys put on the face paint they go from school boys to savages.

I also think man could be born with selfishness and learn to be civilized because we learn so many things from watching our surroundings. chapter 1

Dear Diary,   Day 1 - after being in that terrible plane crash I landed on an island or a place, I don't even know if this is an island. All I can remember is seeing the front half of the plane in flames. The next thing I knew I was in water or sand cant even remember.   As I shifted through the mass amount of foliage, I saw a thin figured boy with fair hair. The boy seemed older than me, more fit. From that moment on I felt relieved to see another person.   so, I cleaned my specs on my wind breaker and smiled at the thin boy hoping to befriend him. I told the thin boy of my thoughts of what may have happened. I asked   for his name and he answered, but he was not quiet interested in mine. I had a feeling he wanted to play but, I quickly informed him of my asthma. I felt my stomach as it started to hang, so I went off to get some fruit. Later I returned to ralph and asked if he had called for any others and suggested it would be best if we know of all their names. R

chapter 4

Dear diary, The days are so long here, but at the end of the day when the darkness extinguishes the light. I still wonder where the day has gone. The sun never stops reflecting off of my specs, but that won't be such a problem for me anymore.  I was about my day wondering off in to my own imagination just thinking. I hear a little un crying in the distance, but ignore it because he is always crying. Jack is over by a tree talking to roger, but I pay no mind to him as he does the same to me. I saw ralph sitting under a palm tree and decided to tell him what I was thinking about.   A clock, but ralph wasn’t interested. I was about my business and notice no smoke there was no smoke. Ralph had saw a ship and there was no smoke. Ralph raced up to the mountain and motioned towards for me. I was too slow. The ship was gone and it sure was not my fault. Sam and Eric were supposed to be watching the fire, but arrived with jack and some others chanting kill the pig, spill her blood
